   Oakland 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament - Saturday, June  7th

The 10th annual Oakland 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be held on Sat. June 7th.  This tournament has drawn over 760 teams and over 3040 competitors from 4 states and over 150 different towns over the years.  This tournament has 18 divisions and is appropriate for all ages and all levels.  There will be food, drink, and t-shirts for sale. There is a public swimming pool and park facilities, including a campground in town.  We look forward to having you and your team compete.

Swede Stampede -- June 6th @ 6:00

"I feel the need...the need for speed!"  Swede speed that is!  Register for the fun run everyone is talking about, the 2008 Swede Stampede.  Registration includes  a sweet t-shirt, post-race snacks and several other fun extras.  The race takes place on June 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the beautiful Oakland City Park.  Come early for the Nelson's Food Pride Spring Into Summer Steak Fry and stay late for the Oakland Figure 8 Races.  Click on the links below for the flyer and/or online registration.
